Terrace Climbs Home to the famous Copper Mountain whose climbs tower 300 m (980 ft) over the golf course in Thornhill. Furthermore, just off the highway between Terrace and Prince Rupert are several undiscovered bluffs and cliffs that stand upwards of 200 m (656 ft) tall. Grades have been rated at between 5.8 and 5.12 in accordance with the rock climbing grading system. Split Mountain is where everyone in the area goes for the big-wall rock climb. This climb is over 500 m (1,640 ft). |

Terrace Mountain Trail Hikers will enjoy panoramic views of the mountains, surrounding valleys, river and city. Some steep sections are found along the trail.
Access: Trailhead is located east on Park Avenue (behind the Bavarian Inn), then left on Johnstone Street (200 m). |
